The Technical Product Coordinator serves as a cross-functional technical support resource for the Technical Product Specialist (TPS) team. This role ensures smooth internal execution of productrelated activities by coordinating documentation, supporting product launches, and facilitating communication between TPSs and internal stakeholders. The role enables TPSs to focus on in-field sales support, customer engagement, and technical leadership by handling internal operational and coordination tasks that are essential to product success.

 

Time Utilization:

This position will travel up to 10% of the timeNormal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support planning and execution of new product launches, ensuring alignment with established launch responsibilities.
  • Oversee launch timelines, track crossfunctional deliverables, and manage internal communication throughout the launch cycle.
  • Ensure Marketing, Sales, and Sales Support Operations are aligned on messaging, technical accuracy, and launch readiness.
  • Manage the creation, editing, and distribution of technical documentation for core products, including guides, application resources, and sales-support materials.
  • Maintain and continuously update the technical documentation repository for Sales and Sales Support Operations, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
  • Work closely with Technical Product Specialists to gather product intelligence, customer insights, and market feedback to share with the internal Marketing team and equipment manufacturer.
  • Support TPSs in developing competitive materials such as battle cards, comparison tools, and application guides.
  • Collaborate with TPSs and Marketing to collect and organize competitive, regulatory, and customer feedback to help influence product strategy and further development.
  • Update internal stakeholders on changes to product specifications, documentation, competitive landscape, and launch readiness.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field and five years of experience in capital equipment sales, marketing, product management or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in technical coordination, product support, marketing operations, or related capacity preferred.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point.  Working knowledge of SAP CRM preferred. 

Certificates and Licenses:
Current valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position.
