Job Title: Supplier Relationship and Planning Manager

Location: Norfolk

Reporting To: General Manager - Supply

The Supplier Relationship and Planning Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join our fast paced, energetic team, to help us continue with our ambitious development and growth plans. This is a multi faceted role, managing our suppliers across all product categories (Jewellery, Leathergoods, Homeware, Assay)

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and commercial skills, to manage and support our supply partners to ensure our beautiful product is produced, delivered on time, and in line with our stringent quality and sustainability standards to exceed our customers’ expectations.

What you’ll do

Supplier Relationship Management

        Develop & maintain professional, respectful and collaborative relationships with our external supply partners (Jewellery, Leathergoods, Homeware)

        Drive day to day supplier management, problem solving, supporting, setting & driving action plans

        Regular communication / interaction with the wider New Product Development (NPD) team any relevant supplier updates/information

        Manage weekly supplier meetings, driving the agenda in line with agreed priorities with time bound actions

        Own our Assay Offices Services relationships

        Manage preparation, data collection, analysis & output of Supplier Annual Business Performance Reviews

Sourcing

        Manage any resourcing projects, researching and scaling for business growth

        Own the robust onboarding process for any new sources

        Manage any Special Projects against a given brief eg product components, new product categories

 

        Develop and maintain close and consistent integration with our Merchandising team and Supplier to

-          Communicate any supplier information which impacts or gives risk to on time delivery

-          Understanding the root cause issues & work to resolve any blockers

-          Support with the expedition of priority of current or proposed orders.

        Work closely with our Merchandising team to understand our forecasting and monthly buy plan and forecast process. Drilling down on this data on a monthly basis, to validate the information, reporting back with observations and proposals. Using this data to flag any impact pertaining to supplier capacities  

        Manage planning and tracking of raw materials eg leather / component stocks   

 

Costs

        Actively identify /  propose any opportunities for product cost savings

        Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to review Refurbishment / Repair costs

        Support with cost analysis projects

 

Supplier Administration

        Manage Supplier Portal training and ongoing technical support

        Own New Supplier set up within company database

        Manage and resolve any supplier related and escalated shipping issues

        Own all Supplier related sustainable product packaging, managing regular updates, and supplier conformance

Additional Requirements

Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.

Travel Requirements

Minimum 4 days per week travel to our Norfolk Office & Periodic travel to our London Operations site, plus quarterly travel overseas
