About This Role
The VP of Sales and Marketing is a key senior leadership role that holds strategic responsibility for enhancing sales, brand positioning, and shaping customer experience strategies. As a senior leader at MN Custom Homes, you will play a pivotal role in setting the direction for sales, marketing, and customer engagement to maximize revenue, and foster customer loyalty.     

On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include        
The VP of Sales & Marketing will collaborate closely with Company Owners, the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership team to strategically define and elevate the company's branding and sales direction, emphasizing an enhanced customer experience.  


Strategic Leadership
           
 

  • Develop, refine, and execute MN Custom Homes strategic priorities.
  • Oversees, develops, and execute comprehensive strategies for sales and marketing growth, ensuring alignment with organization objectives.
  • Establish deep knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify potential opportunities or threats.


Operational Performance           
 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the brand.
  • Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the market.
  • Define and implement best practices for customer experience, satisfaction measurement, and journey mapping. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform decision-making and strategy development. 
  • Oversee and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales, marketing, and customer experience efforts.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales, marketing, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Regularly review customer feedback, leveraging insights to enhance brand and customer experience. 


Team Management and Collaboration           
 

  • Model and reinforce actions and behaviors consistent with the company’s values, mission, and culture.
  • Lead land acquisition efforts, identifying strategic opportunities to expand the company's footprint. 
  • Fosters a customer-centric approach that delivers exceptional experiences.
  • Own overall team performance, growth trajectory, and pacing towards business goals.
  • Participate in all employee lifecycle activities including but not limited to interviewing, onboarding, training, mentoring, conducting weekly 1:1s, disciplinary actions, hold regular performance reviews, and offboarding.


What You’ll Need to Succeed
      
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in senior sales and marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, building successful marketing strategies, and delivering and defining expectational customer experiences. 
  • Deep understanding of the luxury goods and services markets, including consumer behavior, trends, and industry best practices. 
  • Demonstrated track record of success in leading and managing teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and harnessing the unique strengths of team members to achieve common goals.
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to be furnished upon hire absent an approved accommodation.

Hours & Compensation
This is a full-time position paying $165,000 – $264,000 + discretionary bonuses. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
