The Position
The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is seeking a talented individual to help activate and operate our state-of-the-art LED and digital displays at T-Mobile Park.
This important team member will assist with the designing, programming and content operations for the LED and IPTV display systems at T-Mobile Park. This candidate and these systems are central to creating one of the best entertainment and informative experiences in Major League Baseball.
This full-time position is a crucial member of the award-winning Productions Department, collaborating within the department and across the organization to achieve the club’s goals. This position requires flexible work hours, including nights, weekends and holidays for baseball and other events held at T-Mobile Park.
Essential Functions:
- Create and program scripts, triggers and dashboards for system operations, with a focus on the IPTV and digital menu display systems (Triple Play).
- Understand the applications and control hardware within the Daktronics system, including Daktronics Content Studio, Show Control and DakStats applications.
- Stay up-to-date and keep abreast with new software, version updates and features within the system applications.
- Help with the integration of auxiliary systems triggered by Daktronics and IPTV controllers (switcher, Xpression, ballpark field lights, LED accent lights, etc.)
- Operate positions within the LED control system and IPTV environments on game days and for events.
- Help troubleshoot and identify issues and potential areas of concern within the control systems with the ability to learn from both successes and failures to establish best practices.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with designing and programming IPTV and Digital Menu Boards (Triple Play) preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience with LED Content Management Systems, specifically Daktronics and their suite of control and stat applications.
- Experience with basic programming and coding preferred.
- Previous work in live events and sports entertainment industry preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Premiere, AfterEffects & Photoshop preferred.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
- Understanding of broadcast control room environments.
- Ability to operate and program broadcast systems is a plus (Xpression, Switcher, Clips, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understanding and knowledge of baseball.
- Self-motivated and show initiative, take ownership of processes and operations.
- Must be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and adapt to the circumstances that occur in a fast-paced live production environment.
- Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Completes work assignments thoroughly and completely in an accurate, and prompt manner. Identifies and corrects errors. Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.

The anticipated range of base compensation for this role is $58,000 to $63,000 annually. In addition, we offer eligible Team Members a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a competitive 401(k) company match.
