Job Title:Associate, Game Entertainment

Department:Experiential Marketing

Reports To:Director, Experiential Marketing & Game Entertainment

Status:             Seasonal, Non-Exempt

Additional Details:       20 hours per week during road trips, 40 hours per week during homestands

Period:  March 1st – October 31st

 

Primary Objective: Responsible for supporting the Mariners Experiential Marketing department with the Club’s game entertainment initiatives. Primary responsibilities include contributing to the planning, scriptwriting and scheduling of the Mariners live game presentation at T-Mobile Park in order to provide unforgettable experiences for our fans.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in scheduling and scriptwriting for game entertainment elements, including curating notes, trivia, talking points, etc. for various in-park content.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of select in-park honorees and performers, including military members, community heroes and contestants.
  • Develop gameday schedules and creative concepts for the Mariner Moose and other mascot performers
  • Work hand-in-hand with Mariners promotions team, the Navigators, on gameday roles, propping and coordination of gameday elements
  • Assist in tracking game presentation deliverables for sponsored features as well as working cross-departmentally to receive other gameday requests
  • Coordinate gate and concourse entertainment as needed.
  • Program and coordinate entertainment for Season Ticket Members and Kids Club Members during early gates activations
  • Monitor Mariners marketing email accounts, addressing fan questions and requests
  • Serve as Game Entertainment Production Assistant for select Mariners home games.
  • Serve as an active, creative resource, including idea generation around content, music, special events, promotions, skits, etc.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned. other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year relevant work experience required.
  • Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
  • Previous experience with game day productions is preferred.
  • Relevant sports experience preferred.

Physical Activities and Working Conditions:  

  • Must be able to work a variable schedule including select home games (March through October, including nights, weekends, and holidays). 
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs
  • Must have a driver’s license and be willing to operate company vehicles if necessary.
