Location: Port Coquitlam, BC

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate forklift operator's tasks and schedule incoming deliveries for the Distribution Centre
- Provide lift truck resources to various sectors of the warehouse
- Ensure that each team member's certifications are up-to-date and valid
- Assist with loading outgoing orders
- Help with unloading incoming deliveries and orders
- Organize and manage your team of forklift operators
- Provide training, feedback, and coaching to new and existing employees as needed
- Promote a safe working environment through compliance and understanding of Health and Safety rules and regulations, along with company policies and procedures
- Commit to further advancing one’s warehouse knowledge (ex. equipment, procedures)
- Perform additional distribution duties as required
- Liaising with other department heads with machine operator requirements
Do you fit the part?
- Supervisory experience/strong leadership skills are considered an asset
- Must have a valid forklift certification that is up-to-date
- Capable of meeting department goals while measuring and meeting key performance indicators
- Experience working in a warehouse and operating fork trucks
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong multitasking and delegating skills
- Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills when working individually, and with the team
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
- Steel-toe shoes are required
