We’re looking for a highly skilled Junior to Junior+ IT Network Analyst who will be part of our team.

 

Position Title:  Junior to Junior+ IT Network Analyst

 

Location: Remote - LATAM

 

What you will be doing:

 

The Offsite IT Network Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure, which includes a combination of appliances, switches, access points, and cellular gateways. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth network operations, troubleshooting internet outages, and resolving device failures. The analyst will collaborate with both internal teams and external providers to maintain optimal network performance across our locations. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

Meraki Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  • Monitor Cisco Meraki networks for internet outages, offline devices, and poor network performance.
  • Respond to network incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient resolution.
  • Troubleshoot Meraki devices, including switches, access points, appliances, and cellular gateways.

 

Ubiquiti Network Bridges:
  • Oversee Ubiquiti bridges for building-to-building connectivity, ensuring reliable communication and diagnosing any connection issues.

 

Collaboration with On-Site Teams:
  • Communicate with local center teammates to troubleshoot internet or device outages.
  • Provide guidance and support to on-site staff to help identify and resolve network issues.

 

Vendor Management & Support Coordination:
  • Work with internet service providers to open tickets and troubleshoot internet stability issues.
  • Coordinate with our 3rd-party support team for on-the-ground assistance with failed devices or advanced troubleshooting.

 

System Administration & Security:
  • Maintain network configurations and security protocols to ensure the integrity and security of the network.
  • Assist with the implementation of upgrades, patches, and security measures to optimize network performance.

 

Documentation & Performance Monitoring:
  • Document network processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Continuously monitor network performance metrics and create reports on network health.

 

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Network Analyst or similar role, with hands-on experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency with Cisco Meraki systems (including appliances, switches, access points, and cellular gateways). (Preferred)
  • Experience with Ubiquiti for building-to-building network bridges. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of network configuration, performance monitoring, and security.
  • Ability to work with internet service providers to resolve connection issues and coordinate external support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing network performance issues.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work closely with on-site teams and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex issues.
  • Patience when working with non-technical personnel and explaining technical
  • issues.
  • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving network problems.
