Starting wage $33.00-35.00/hour 

Primary Role:            Maintenance Technician for Latham Pool Products will be responsible for the maintaining all equipment used in manufacturing product; execution of various EH&S plans; training staff and keeping other Maintenance Technicians actively scheduled and engaged in their work.          
     
Duties and Responsibilities:     
    • Overall responsibility for the readiness of the equipment and machines, plus all buildings and grounds concerns.
    • Stock and store replacement and consumable machine parts.
    • Assisting / performing Preventative Maintenance duties and troubleshooting, and repairs of breakdowns as needed.
    • Assist other technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing plant concerns.
    • Lead / coach / train maintenance department personnel when necessary.
    • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems - both routine and complex using a defined method of troubleshooting to get to root cause.
    • Maintain equipment records.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Individual should have a mechanical aptitude.
    • Must furnish their own basic set of tools and know how to properly operate and maintain tools to always keep them in safe working order.
    • Ensure compliance with all LOTO procedures.
    Qualifications:   
    • Degree / Certification in technical field is a plus but not required.
    • Minimum of 5 – 10 years maintenance or related-industry experience.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
    • Ability to work Overtime, Weekends, and Nights.
    • Able to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
    • Ability to safely use a multi-meter to trouble shoot electrical systems.
    • Familiar with personal computers.
    • Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
    • The ability to work in a team environment, including being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating proactively in all team events.

Must be authorized to work in the US.
