A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist supports the effective delivery of core human resources services at the assigned location and serves as a trusted advisor to onsite managers. The role is focused on execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvement of day-to-day HR processes while maintaining strong working relationships with leaders and employees.
This position collaborates closely with managers to understand operational challenges, identify employee-related trends, and address issues proactively. The HR Generalist is expected to think critically, anticipate needs, and collaborate with leadership to support a stable, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Process employee status changes, pay changes, and job updates in appropriate systems.
- Partner closely with supervisors and managers to provide guidance on attendance, performance management, conduct, and policy interpretation.
- Proactively identify patterns or recurring issues (attendance, early turnover, performance challenges) and work with managers and HRBP to address them.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and document findings appropriately; escalate when needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Coordinate with the Company’s third‑party leave administrator to support FMLA, STD, LTD, and other leave processes.
- Manage recruiting and hiring for hourly and salaried positions at the location.
- Conduct new hire orientation and support effective onboarding experiences.
- Partner with plant leadership to administer the skills matrix and support cross-training initiatives.
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition efforts, and assist plant manager with site events.
- Support safety initiatives and reinforce safety expectations in partnership with site leadership and EHS.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum three (3) years of progressive HR experience preferred.
· Background working in a manufacturing or operations environment is preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
· HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with managers and employees.
· Strong judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
· Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
