A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer’s primary purpose is to develop and improve production processes, configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, perform experiments to improve process materials and quality, and develop and document best practices within the production processes.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Improve manufacturing efficiencies by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirement, and equipment layout.
- Collect data on manufacturing processes, and analyses methods to improve cost and efficiency.
- Provide manufacturing decision-making by calculating production, labor, and material cost.
- Maintain product and process data.
- Design, modify, and develop standard work for all departments.
- Work with manufacturing associates to promote and implement continuous improvement and safety projects.
- Develop DOE for mitigating potential quality related issues.
- Close work with laboratory and completion of standard composites laboratory experiments.
- Test alternate and cutting-edge materials in the manufacturing process.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree considered in Industrial Engineering (IE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a related field, with 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Relevant hands-on lab experience or internships may be considered as experience. - ERP System knowledge preferred.
- Highly developed skills: problem-solving, tenacity, drive, creativity, planning and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a variety of systems.
- Ability to design and perform laboratory experiments and interpret the results.

Salary Range: $65,000-$90,000
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
Bonus: MIB – Tier 3 – 10% of base pay
