Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Engineering team, the Electro-Mechanical Technician will work in a clean room environment, providing technical support, calibration, installation, repair and preventive maintenance for medical devices.
This role works Mon-Thurs, 2nd Shift 3pm-1am; Overtime on alternating Fridays
About the Role:
- Provide support for equipment such as pneumatics, laser drills, label and inkjet printers, conveyors, corona surface treaters, induction tippers, balloon formers, vacuum formers, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Execute procedures for calibration, document their completion, and consistently complete all calibration verifications on schedule provided.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, document their completion, and consistently complete all preventive maintenance on schedule provided.
- Assist Engineering in fixture qualifications for new/existing equipment as required, including collection of data, and supporting design of new equipment or equipment modifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience working with biomedical equipment preferred
- Strong demonstrated "hands-on" ability to diagnosis, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and language barriers in a minimal English speaking environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Troubleshooting of complex systems
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences, or related field
- Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
