Role Description 


Join Kal Tire's team in Sparwood, BC, as a Commercial Service Technician and take your career to new heights. We are seeking an individual with specific specialty skills in Large OTR, Large Agriculture, and Crane Truck tires. This position requires the ability to access Teck Coal mine sites and work independently. If you are a problem solver with exceptional customer service skills and a knack for adapting to changing situations, we want you on our team! 

  

Job Responsibilities 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform service work on commercial tires, with a focus on Large OTR, Large Agriculture, and Crane Truck tires.
  • Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
  • Provide on-site fleet service, roadside assistance, and off-site commercial tire services.
  • Interact with customers professionally, addressing tire-related concerns, providing advice, and recommending appropriate options.
  • Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repairs.

Job Requirements 

  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
  • Comfortable lifting 50lbs at shoulder height.
  • Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.

Special Requirements 

  • Hours

Monday – Saturday 8 am – 5 pm
