AZ Driver Yard Coordinator

Looking for a local AZ driving role where you can stay active and be home every day? Kal Tire is hiring an AZ-licensed Yard Coordinator / Shunt Truck Driver for our Amaranth Warehouse.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll operate a yard shunt truck, coordinate trailer movement, and support warehouse maintenance all in a safety-first environment. No long-haul driving, just steady, on-site work.

Responsibilities:
Safety
- Follow all safety procedures and lock-out protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard and warehouse.
- Proactively identify and report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure equipment and work areas are inspected and maintained to meet safety standards.
Yard Operations
- Safely operate shunt trucks and mobile equipment to move trailers, sea cans, and yard chassis.
- Coordinate trailer placement and yard flow with warehouse leadership.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and light maintenance to keep equipment in working condition.
- Maintain accurate yard records and support overall yard organization.
- Support outdoor upkeep, including snow removal and general yard maintenance.
Warehouse Maintenance
- Perform routine warehouse maintenance, including racking, pallets, and minor facility repairs.
- Ensure forklifts and equipment are charged, inspected, and ready for use.
- Support preventative maintenance and help maintain equipment reliability.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements:
- Valid AZ licence with a clean driving record.
- 1–2 years of shunt truck experience OR 2–3 years of driving experience.
- Experience with warehouse, equipment, or facility maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in a physically demanding role.
- Strong focus on safety, organization, and communication.
- Basic computer skills.
