Field Service Coordinator

Responsibilities & Expectations:
We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Coordinator. The Field Service Coordinator will be responsible for incoming field service requests for PowerServe, ensuring that quotes are prepared with correct pricing and team information. This position will be an essential part of the PowerServe field service operation and requires meticulous organization and communication skills.
- Receive incoming field service request calls, tracking details such as travel, pricing, materials needed, and required workforce
- Ensure the customer, industry, and IPS training requirements are maintained for all team members
- Ability to schedule field service projects by evaluating the calendars of the necessary field service technicians and communicate with all those involved
- Perform VOC review with customers to continuously improve customer experience and drive value for IPS
- Set-up projects in NetSuite for review by Sales Support and Area Managers
- Enroll field service technicians in any necessary safety training to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Ensure pricing and work order is correct before sending to Sales department for review
- Ability to ask technical questions regarding the nature of the field service request while always being professional and polite when communicating with customers
- Schedule and coordinate safety training
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and audits are completed
- Re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Ensure the field service reports are completed and delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain relevant logs and documentation
- Work with customer and seller to receive PO for projects
- Responsible for job folder preparation for invoicing
- Assist with month-end closing and other administrative tasks, as needed
- Invoice completed projects in NetSuite
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products preferred
- 3 or more years of customer service experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers
- Critical attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to understand, perform and retain various job-related training
- Flexible with hours, overtime, and some weekend work
- Proficient in MS Office suite
