Responsibilities & Expectations: 

The sales compensation analyst will support annual compensation design process and implementation, including ongoing compensation related design & execution activities. Performs all activities needed to produce accurate and timely incentive compensation payouts. Conducts and tracks ongoing performance analysis, including attainment to goal and overall sales team performance.

  • Design sales incentive compensation plans for sales resources that motivate reps to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Reassess sales incentive plans on an annual basis to refine measures and mechanics to successfully drive seller focus to execute sales strategy
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops Manager / Leaders to ensure sales incentive plans align to strategy and motivate desired behaviors
  • Analyze pay and performance data including metrics like quota attainment % and payouts by measure and role to inform effectiveness of compensation plans
  • Work closely with Finance to conduct cost modeling activities and ensure commissions are calculated and paid monthly
  • Collaborate with Business Systems team to create dashboards and reports for sellers to easily track their performance in an accurate, timely manner that drives motivation
  • Perform individual-level analyses to understand impacts of changes to compensation plans to identify “winners” and “losers” based on projected incentive payouts
  • Work with Finance to accurately set and track quotas, support quota setting process and allocation to sales teams

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales compensation analysis, financial analysis, or sales operations.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with CRM or incentive management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Xactly, Anaplan) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
