Multimedia Designer

Marketing Greenville, South Carolina

Description

IPS is seeking a Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing team where your expertise and dedication will be valued and drive our success. Here, you’ll find a dynamic environment that offers job stability, professional growth, and competitive compensation. As a crucial member of our team, you’ll support our locations around North America, partnering to ensure continued success. If you’re detail-oriented, dedicated, and thrive in a rapidly evolving setting, IPS is the perfect place for you to make a real difference.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for developing and producing visual and multimedia content that supports IPS’s commercial marketing programs, brand presence, and internal communications. This includes video, photography, motion graphics, and graphic design across digital and physical channels.

This role sits within the corporate marketing team and serves as a key creative partner to revenue marketing, communications, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on creator and a visual storyteller — equally comfortable designing a polished one-pager, producing a campaign video, or capturing content in the field — and understands how visual content supports the full B2B buying journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Multimedia & Graphic Design Creation

Capture and produce high-quality video, photography, and audio content to support campaigns, brand storytelling, and internal initiatives

Design visually compelling assets across formats, including one-pagers, presentations, social graphics, infographics, brochures, and event materials

Create motion graphics and video content that enhance storytelling and engagement across digital channels

Edit and optimize multimedia and design assets for multiple platforms, ensuring consistency with brand standards and audience expectations

Support podcast production, including recording, editing, and development of promotional assets

Translate technical subject matter into clear, engaging, and visually compelling content

Creative Strategy & Planning

Partner with marketing and communications teams to plan and execute visual content aligned to campaign and business priorities

Contribute to creative direction, layout, and visual storytelling across campaigns and initiatives

Ensure consistency in visual identity, typography, and brand standards across all outputs

Identify opportunities to repurpose and extend content across formats (e.g., video into social clips, presentations into graphics)

Support planning of content shoots and design needs, including logistics, shot lists, and asset requirements

Campaign & Social Media Support

Develop visual and multimedia assets that support demand generation campaigns and employer branding initiatives

Translate campaign messaging into engaging visual formats that drive reach, engagement, and conversion

Collaborate on social media content, particularly for LinkedIn and other priority platforms

Optimize creative assets based on platform best practices and performance insights

Asset Management & Production

Organize, manage, and maintain digital assets, including video, photography, and design files, within content libraries

Prepare and package files for print, digital, and multimedia production with a high level of quality and accuracy

Support the development and ongoing maintenance of IPS brand guidelines across visual and multimedia assets

Ensure efficient workflows for content storage, retrieval, and reuse

Cross-Function Collaboration

Partner with revenue marketing, communications, and business development teams to support campaign and content needs

Work closely with subject matter experts, field teams, and leadership to capture and develop high-impact content

Collaborate with content creators and stakeholders to align messaging, visuals, and final production

Support on-site content capture and design needs for events, field locations, and campaigns

Qualifications and Competencies:

3–5+ years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or visual content creation, preferably in a B2B or corporate environment

Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video production, and photography work

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and audio tools

Experience designing for both digital and print formats

Strong understanding of layout, typography, branding, and visual storytelling

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

        Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or technical services environments

Experience supporting marketing campaigns and social media content strategies

Familiarity with content management systems and digital asset management platforms

Experience with motion graphics, animation, or podcast production workflows
