Responsibilities & Expectations:   

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated facility service center HSE Supervisor within a manufacturing environment to assist in managing the health, safety, and environmental management system. As an HSE Coordinator, you will oversee and support the education and training of Integrated Power Services’ location staff within the assigned region in federal, state, and local laws, reinforcing the compliance of IPS’s safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures as well as support the facility leadership. Responsibilities include:  

  • Builds working relationships with service center facility staff, visitors, and contractors 
  • Support the facility in incident reporting, management, investigation, and resolution  
  • Supports the facility in CIPS phase progression for HSE elements. Engage in the CIPS phase process through learning and development  
  • Completes the Leader Standard Work (LSW) process  
  • Proven track record for process redesign and implementation    
  • Encourage employees to choose practices that will contribute to a safer work environment   
  • Support best practice sharing and implementation at the facility 
  • To support the standardization and auditing of HSE processes and procedures as assigned 
  • Support the development of metrics, initiatives, programs, or campaigns as assigned 
  • Support the core fundamentals of HSE through auditing and evaluation of assigned locations 
  • Creates accurate safety reports and accident investigation documents 
  • Leads and participates in staff safety training. possesses strong presentation skills 
  • Represents company in a positive and professional manner 
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key vendors (contractors, suppliers, medical providers, etc.) 
  • Participates in safety organizations outside of the company and in assigned region 
  • Ensures compliance with the company’s current HSE management system, policies, and expectations 
  • Participates in the HSE workshops and completes HSE deliverables from each month’s workshop 
  • Maintains and executes an environmental compliance calendar 

Qualifications and Competencies:  

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the management of safety and health processes 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety Management highly preferred 
  • Authorized OSHA 500 Trainer preferred 
  • Safety certification from an accredited organization, such as BCSP or equal alternative preferred  
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite tools and other relevant software 
  • Outstanding communication and influencing abilities; has the ability to have effective and crucial conversations to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization and within the presentation setting    
  • Ability to perform audits, write and submit reports   
  • Manages time and resources appropriately 
  • Deviations and approvals must come from regional HSE manager
