Customer Service Specialist - DACH Region

In this multi-disciplinary role, your mission is to ensure the best possible customer experience. You do this while managing the on-time delivery of the customer orders and supporting or directly responsible for activities such as: demand management, logistics, export & documentation, technical support, quoting, reversed logistics and product quality related questions. You will operate in a multi-functional team that actively supports a range of customers and the related commercial activities in multiple countries.  This position has the ability for full time and part time options.
This position will support all regions with a heavy focus on the DACH Region. 
 
General Responsibilities:
  • From start to delivery lead order management activities, including lead times, product pricing and costs
  • End to end customer inquiry follow up, such as:
    • Inventory levels
    • Transport prices
    • Product prices
    • Product configurations
    • Compose quotes for specific customer needs and configurations
    • Lead demand management input
    • Process and cost optimization Logistics
    • Export documentation for non-EU shipments
    • Documentation for test initiation for Software & Hardware
    • Quality and stock RMA
  • Support business reporting needs customers and sales team
  • Be a subject matter expert as Super User for assigned product families
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in German and English is essential – German language skills are a mandatory requirement, as this role will primarily support our German-speaking customers and partners
  • Additional language skills are a plus, as the role also provide support across other European regions
  • 3+ years of customer service, order management, and/or account management experience.
  • Experience with strong focus on customer, proactive approach to order management
  • Exposed to B2B or enterprise customers.
  • Exposed to fast-paced, international business.
  • Ideally has experience in multiple selling models, i.e. direct sales, tele sales and channel partner sales.
  • Exposed to (international) physical logistics
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Export and documentation knowledge is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • MBO, Bachelor education level
