Customer Support Agent
Do you have a passion for digital marketing? Are you looking to level-up your customer service skills? Martindale-Avvo, a division of Internet Brands, is on the hunt for client-oriented Customer Support Agents to join our New Providence based team.
As a CSA you’ll be the first point of contact for our law firm and attorney clients, responding to inquiries via email, phone and live chat. You’ll act as a liaison between our clients and sales team, and have an opportunity to work on special cross-team projects. This is the perfect entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to get their feet wet in the digital marketing space.
A little more about the role…
- You’ll be supporting our Avvo product line - though there may be an opportunity in the future to support some of our other business units as you progress in your role!
- Respond to and resolve a wide range of inquiries, from billing concerns to product questions, in accordance with department guidelines.
- Using sound judgment, triage and escalate client concerns to appropriate senior team members or appropriate support departments as needed.
- Utilize Salesforce to log calls, inputting large amounts of data with speed and accuracy.
- Work on other projects as assigned by management.
This position will require you to report to our New Providence, New Jersey office.
The hours required for this position are:
Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm
What we’re looking for…
Customer Service experience - you’re a champion for great service, and have worked directly with customers in the past. Whether it be in retail, food service or traditional customer support, client satisfaction has always been your priority.
Excellent communication skills - you communicate effectively in both verbal and written capacity, you have the ability to remain professional, courteous and friendly under pressure.
Strong attention to detail - you have pristine organizational skills, and can efficiently multitask without sacrificing your quality of work.
You’re a team player - you have a positive, can-do attitude. You don’t mind jumping in to lend a hand from time-to-time, and are happy to share your thoughts and ideas to improve the overall productivity of the team.
Note: This position requires you to have the ability to work on a computer for an extended amount of time and stay focused on repetitive tasks for 8 hours
