We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our IT team in the US, reporting to the manager of IT Cloud Technologies. In this role, you will craft and implement web applications using Angular and various other front-end technologies, catering to both our valued customers and internal team members. What you’ll do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using industry best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implement automated testing to ensure application reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, and troubleshooting
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure our applications are using the latest features and best practices
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in Angular/React development for modern web applications
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth and JWT
  • Proficiency in using DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and GitHub
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, ECS, and RDS
  • Understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Proven experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, an understanding of common web application security principles, and knowledge of backend development technologies, such as Node.js and Express, is preferred
 
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
  • Develop and deploy several feature-rich web applications using Angular and other front-end technologies, enhancing user experiences and effectively meeting customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with the team to optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions across various devices and browsers
After about a year, you will….
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our front-end development practices, sharing your expertise and insights to elevate the skill set of the team and foster a culture of learning and growth
