Job Summary
The Procurement & Business Intern will support the procurement and business operations teams with day-to-day activities related to sourcing, vendor management, data analysis, and process improvement. This internship provides hands-on exposure to procurement practices, business strategy, and cross-functional collaboration in a professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
- Assist in vendor sourcing, supplier onboarding, and quotation comparisons
- Support purchase order creation, tracking, and documentation
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases
- Assist with cost analysis, pricing reviews, and spend tracking
- Support supplier communication and coordination
Business & Operations Support
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and business dashboards
- Support process improvement initiatives and documentation
- Conduct basic market research and supplier benchmarking
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and meeting materials
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and other business teams as needed
Administrative & Project Tasks
- Maintain organized files, spreadsheets, and compliance documents
- Support procurement and business-related projects as assigned
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred
- Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain concepts
- Experience with data analysis or business reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement tools is a plus
