Required immediately, our LOCAL KENT PLANT is seeking a FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN

 

Desired Skills & Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ direct experience in a similar role in similar industry
  • Experience/knowledge with CNC machines, recycle water systems a real PLUS
  • Log out and tag out processes for electrical, mechanical and control principles
  • Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
  • Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity
  • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
  • Grounds-keeping experience
  • Has or can obtain fork lift operators’ certificate
  • Ability to walk, bend and stoop for long periods of time
  • Ability to safely lift up 75 lbs when needed
  • Strong written and oral communication

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Inspect, repair and maintain production equipment (cleaning, inspecting and greasing) including all production equipment and water treatment systems
  • Set up production equipment to ensure effective operation
  • Maintain the grounds (garbage removal, lawn maintenance, snow etc.)
  • General building maintenance for the branch including fixing minor structural damages, painting
  • Other duties as assigned
