Location: Based out of our Madison, WI office with the ability of coming into the office up to 1 to 2 days per week.  
OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Specialist will be a key player in the Marketing department, contributing to the strategic initiatives and execution of social media campaigns with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
This role involves collaborating with marketing leadership to understand strategic marketing goals, acting as a social media communication channel expert, and working with the entire marketing team to develop both standalone and comprehensive social media campaigns.
This position is essential for maintaining the company's brand reputation and driving growth through effective social media strategies. The position is at a company that is publicly traded in a highly regulated financial industry. This position impacts the company’s brand reputation which requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
 
TOP PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES CRITICAL TO SUCCESS:
  • Content Creation and Campaign Support: Draft, review, and post content for comprehensive or single asset marketing communication campaigns that support brand or lead generation efforts. Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all channels. Use campaign templates and brand guides to draft or proof copy and graphics. (60%)
  • Backup Support for Web and Email Production: Provide regular backup support for digital marketing team member’s web and email production tasks. This includes two email campaigns and two website projects per week. (20%)
  • Strategic Social Media Planning: Work with marketing leadership to develop, implement, and maintain strategic marketing plans for social media channels, ensuring integration with our broader marketing strategy. Stays on top of trends and opportunities as it relates to social media marketing. Work with leadership on data analysis and reporting. (10%)
  • Staff Training and Advocacy: Train company staff on building their personal brand on LinkedIn and using social media advocacy tools to distribute customizable branded posts. (5%)
  • Channel Management and Monitoring: Proactively manage and operate our corporate social media channels and assist with monitoring brand mentions to maintain a positive company image. (5%)
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in communications and/or marketing, with extensive social media experience
    • Experience running a corporate social media platform required
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
    • A problem solver, excels at trouble-shooting and working towards solutions
    • A fast learner with a desire to continually learn and grow skills, especially as it relates to technology and AI
