Objectives of This Role:
A senior project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of a variety of high profile, complicated initiatives on the team and feels comfortable leading internal teams and clients through each step.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
· Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
· Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
· Report an be able to present on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities to clients and internal stakeholders
· Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
· Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives within the team
· Mentor, guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines.
· Ensure availability of financial, material and report accurately to keep projects within scope
· Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults to seek solutions to a more efficient process
· Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of an organization
· Act as an internal quality control check for the project team
· Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
· Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities
· Offer solutions effective in meeting set targets and satisfying client requirements
· Manage the creation and consistent delivery of projects to agree upon timelines and expectation of quality
Qualification Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree
· Successful pharmaceutical project management experience preferred 5+ years
· Leadership Skill: able to direct the operations of a project unit to ensure set goals are achieved
· Problem-solving skills: apply project management principles and methodologies in seeking solutions to project problems and providing recommendations to clients on best practices
· Proven success in providing on site leadership for project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
· Proactive nature that lets you anticipate client and internal team needs
· Impeccable "attention to detail" competency (core)
· Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills (oral, written, and telephone)
· Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage a high volume of competing priorities across projects
· Ability to interact effectively with all structural levels of organizations including clients, vendors, and internal companies to meet group goals
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study
· 5+ years of project management experience
· Experience in planning projects with large data sets and making decisions for data-driven analytics
· Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas
· Proven leadership skills
