Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

About the Position 
Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to support the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas. BAMC is the Department of Defense’s largest inpatient hospital and the only Level I Trauma Center within the Military Health System. 
 
In this role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to active-duty Service Members, veterans, and other eligible beneficiaries across inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and medical home environments. 
 
This position is contingent upon federal contract award and successful completion of credentialing and privileging.

What You’ll Do 
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and examinations
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver hands-on therapy including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and neuromusculoskeletal care
  • Serve as a primary provider for musculoskeletal conditions within scope of practice
  • Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with military and DHA standards
  • Participate in prevention, wellness, education, and discharge planning activities

What You'll Need 
  • U.S. Citizenship (required by federal contract)
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or Bachelor’s for graduates prior to 2002) from a CAPTE-accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in any U.S. state or territory
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience within the past 3 years
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clinical privileges at a Military Treatment Facility
  • Ability to complete federal credentialing, background check, occupational health screening, and immunizations 
Preferred 
  • APTA certification or specialization (Orthopedic, Sports, or Manual Therapy)
