Academy Sports Science Internship 2025
Description
The 2025 - Academy Soccer Science Intern will assist the FC Dallas Performance staff with the daily duties.
This internship will allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports and entertainment industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.
What You’ll Do:
Pre training:
- Communicate with physical performance staff regarding daily field set up.
- Coordinate GPS units for all players.
During Training:
- Assist performance staff on the field as needed-GPS, Strength & Conditioning.
Post training:
- Organize all equipment
- Download GPS, export data and communicate to performance staff.
- Create daily training report and update Daily training log (players attendance sheet)
- Ensure all GPS units are fully charged and ready for next day.
- Connect with staff regarding end of day recap and next day planning.
- All other duties as assigned.
You Are:
- A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry.
- Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
- Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment.
- Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on match schedule.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledge of Major League Soccer and FC Dallas
