Social Media Intern

This position pays $8.00 per hour and is non-negotiable.

The social media intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the social media team with brainstorming campaigns. To be successful as a social media intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms. A good social media intern combines creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media Websites.
• Assist in the creation and development of content to distribute across all social media platforms.
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
• Perform social media marketing research and proactively recommend best practices.
• Contribute to the ideation and brainstorming of creative and sponsor integration.
• Sssist on influencer campaign strategy.
• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms.
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience.
• Help create and edit short form videos.
• Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.
• Assist with photo/video content shoots.
• Ensure brand message is consistent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You are:

• Hardworking, reliable, and have a can-do attitude.
• Strong writing skills is a plus.
• Capable of working outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, mornings, weekends, and Holidays.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a college student.
• Bilingual a Plus
