Position Summary:  
 
We are seeking a passionate and data-driven Senior Lifecyle Marketing Manager who will drive the development and execution of marketing campaigns that increase engagement of EV drivers. This will be a high-impact role managing email, SMS and in-app communications that are seen by EV drivers throughout the US. In addition to building customer-facing communications on our customer engagement platform, the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager will report on campaign metrics, act based on data and work closely with team members. As a leader on the marketing team, this role will work across the team while developing and executing lifecycle marketing campaigns that will drive the engagement growth and retention of EVgo customer base. 
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Work closely with the Senior Director for Marketing, and other company leaders to develop and manage overall customer marketing.  
  • Develop and deploy marketing strategies to support EV driver onboarding, engagement and retention.  
  • Manage EV driver lifecycle communications across email, push and in app notifications, social and SMS.  
  • Build and maintain a testing roadmap to drive continuous improvements in performance.  
  • Conduct A/B testing and continuous optimize customer journeys for engagement and conversion. 
  • Leverage research, insights and campaign results to make data-driven decisions.  
  • Write, build and execute campaigns leveraging email, SMS, social, push and in-app communications using our customer engagement platform.  
  • Monitor and optimize existing lifecycle marketing flows to ensure a strong driver experience. 
  • Manage EVgo’s social media channels including creating, posting, and community management. 
  • Support the CustOps team with messaging and talking points, and ensure issues from customers are addressed and incorporated into marketing materials as needed. 
  • Drive customers to EVgo sites through organic site listing management to support existing and support new EVgo listings across Google, Apple, Waze, and PlugShare. 
  • As a leader on the marketing team, help drive collective achievement of OKRs, provide mentorship and support team growth and professional development. 
Required Skills and Experience:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience 
  • 5-8 years minimum experience in a marketing role 
  • Experience with DTC ecommerce and promotional strategies preferred.    
  • Experience using analytical tools to measure performance, identify improvements and iterate accordingly.  
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms. Direct experience with Braze or Iterable preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Highly organized and able to track multiple projects at once.  
  • Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven . 
  • Exceptional team player who can flourish working in a collegial environment as well as being a self-motivated individual contributor 
  • Intellectually curious, desire and ability to learn new content and concepts and be able to think creatively
  • Must possess strong planning, interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving skills 
For job positions in CA, CO and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $120,000.00 USD to $130,000.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
