Position Summary:

EVgo is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to lead key areas of analysis and reporting. This position requires the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders. This person will be very comfortable with data, and able to demonstrate strong capabilities in statistical modeling and other quantitative analyses. A passion for electric vehicles and renewable energy industries is a plus. Track record of distilling complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders, driving business strategy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support dashboarding / reporting in areas including regulatory, financial, product, utilization, and other key areas
- Create automated reports in Tableau using data sources in Snowflake
- Prepare presentation materials based on analytical reporting
- Support BI team with prioritization and assignments of incoming requests
- Support ad-hoc requests from teams company wide
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-6 years professional experience
- Technical background (Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science) and strong quantitative skills
- Solid communications skills – verbal and written - and willingness and interest in continuing to build skills in this area
- Previous experience working with large and/or disparate data sets
- Extensive experience with Excel analysis
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization platforms
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Metabase or other data warehouse tools
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $160,000 USD to $170,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer discretionary target cash bonuses, restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval), and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, unbounded paid time off including parental leave, and a 401(k).
