Our client is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Senior PeopleSoft HCM Analyst to support and enhance their PeopleSoft HCM system, focusing on the Payroll, Benefits and General Ledger modules. 

Location: Houston Downtown - Need work Onsite- 5 days a week
 
This position is on-site in Houston, TX, and requires full-time office presence—remote or hybrid work is not available. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates. 

Full time role with Oil and Gas midstream

This role requires a proven ability to quickly learn and navigate complex systems with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a commitment to continuous process improvement. 
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: 
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft HCM with a focus on Payroll, Benefits and GL. 
  • Identify and implement system improvements to drive efficiency. 
  • Partner with HR, IT, and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend technology-driven solutions. 
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system functionality and optimize business processes. 
  • Lead testing efforts for system updates, upgrades, and new implementations. Ensure successful deployment and adoption. 
  • Work cross-functionally to align system capabilities with business needs, providing guidance and training to users as necessary. 
  • Support for other PeopleSoft Human Resources modules may be required.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
The requirements for this position are listed below: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, specifically Payroll, Benefits and GL. 
  • Strong knowledge of PS Query, system configuration, and reporting tools. 
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new systems and processes independently. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system issues. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders at all levels. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience with other ERP systems is a plus, but not required. 
  • Experience with International HR, Benefits and/or Payroll a plus, but not required. 
  • Knowledge of ADP tables and configuration a plus, but not required. 
 Working Conditions:

Usually, normal office working conditions. 
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
