About the Role | We are looking for Electrical Engineering graduates at ME/MTech or Ph.D. levels. We are looking for candidates those have hands-on when it comes to working with or creating electrical / electronic systems. This includes being familiar with both HW and FW. As a Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will be part of the systems engineering team that is responsible for defining, integrating, and testing the systems behaviour for Enphase’s energy solutions. |
Responsibilities | - Architecture, modelling and simulation of Grid agnostic system that consist of renewable energy, Energy storage and Genset resources with utility grid.
- Developing models of Enphase grid agnostic system and study the interaction with the utility grid.
- Performing grid code compliance studies (Steady state, transients, power quality) for integration of renewable, storage systems with utility grid.
- Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
- Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
- Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Requirement management and documentation of system behaviour
- Assist in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
- Guide the team for developing test automation setups that can evaluate the system behaviour and allow multiple tests to be run sequentially automatically, then write data into databases
- Generate reports and be able to present data, with the ability to report bugs or issues
- Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirement.
- Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.

Requirements | - ME/MTech or PhD in electrical engineering with 15+ years of experience in Power Electronis or power system design.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and electronics systems.
- Good understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systems
- Good communication skills.
- Analytical, decision making and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Desire and passion to change the world.
Desired experience – the following will be an advantage: - Understanding of energy storage, microgrid and renewable energy systems
- Experience in Modelling and simulation of Power Electronics or power system components
- Experience in MATLAB Simulink modelling, integration, and debug skills
- Experience in Frequency Domain analysis, such as bode, Nyquist Plots and Time domain analysis.
- Good in understanding and analysing complex controls algorithms, also Root cause analysis for unstable systems.
- Experience in Inverter, Power Electronic circuits design.
- Hands on experience with wired and wireless communication protocols
- Experience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on Experience in handling the lab Electronic equipment.
- Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system.
- Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions.
