Enphase is seeking a highly effective and driven System Engineer to join our high performing team based at our Research and Development Center located in Christchurch.
You will be working in a team of engineers who are tasked to design, enhance and test the latest generation of our power converter and energy storage product range.
Role/Duties:
- Define, integrate, and test the systems behaviour for Enphase’s energy solutions.
- Lead the writing and maintenance of engineering documents, including the ERD, DFMEA and test plans.
- Work with the wider Systems team to ensure coordinated behaviour of the system and sub-system.
- Work with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, system, test automation, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and procurement.
- Read and understand standards to capture relevant requirements.
- Troubleshoot the system failures encountered and analyse root cause of the failures.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
Qualification and Previous Experience:
- Bachelor, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years’ experience in industry
