About the role
What you will do
• Develop the partner network: Identify, engage and close new partners while nurturing and growing the existing partners. Educate the network on Enphase’s unique and innovative solutions.
• Be the market expert: You will know the most about your territory and will identify the right partners to add to the Enphase. By using market data and your personal network, you will discover and convert partners who value high quality solar solutions on small roofs.
• Train on the technology: Deeply understand Enphase’s cutting-edge solar technology in microinverters and energy storage so that you can excite new partners and help them understand how Enphase can help them.
• Own the business: Drive sustainable long term revenue growth as the owner, not just a contributor.
• Forecast: Deeply understand your business and show that by producing precise weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts for your territory and each of your accounts
• Use CRM: Use Salesforce.com to manage partners, track opportunities, and maintain an accurate pipeline.
What you bring
• Sales expertise: Has connections with integrators, installers, closers and home builders in solar and energy storage sector. Proven ability to manage a portfolio of customers, with demonstrated success in territory planning, partner engagement, and revenue generation. Proven ability to close.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for candidates from the solar and energy storage industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Language & communication skills: Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in Japanese, enabling you to effectively communicate with customers. English preferred.
• Entrepreneurship: Enjoys tackling something new every day and being resourceful with tight budgets
• Forecasting skills: Ability to develop accurate sales and revenue forecasts based on historical data, partner insights, and competitive market analysis.
• Software experience: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems like Salesforce.com.
• Remote flexibility & travel: Operate from a virtual office in Tokyo with easy access to public transportation. Willingness to travel and meet face to face with customers every day.
