Location: Brampton, ON 
This is a full-time permanent position based in Brampton, ON, working hours are 9am to 5pm. It allows for flexible work from home arrangements to provide work-life-balance to employees as needed.

  Are YOU our next Strategic Sourcing Specialist? 
As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing and procurement and execute strategic sourcing activities to bring value to the organization. You will be responsible for the overall implementation and management of best practices of strategic sourcing to augment the overall supply chain operations of the organization. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing life cycle for material and services and will be working closely with relevant departments and suppliers to source and procure the material and services by adopting the principle of the best value of money and engaging the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.   

How YOU will make a difference:  

    • Conducting a detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of various material and service categories to lay out the strategic direction for sourcing activities.
    • Partner and influence key business partners to align on the execution of the strategic sourcing and contracting processes for direct and indirect spending.
    • Understand the business requirements by coordinating with internal departments and lead complex sourcing projects at the regional and national levels.
    • Bring the best value of money by building strategic relationships with suppliers and creating synergy to the business requirements by engaging vendor in RFx process, preparing financial analysis, negotiating favorable contract terms with support from Manager. Identifying the potential risks and engage coping mitigation strategies to drive continuous improvement and efficient cost management for the projects.
    • Close collaboration with Dynacare’s legal department while drafting the contracts and ensure that organization’s interests are fully covered.
    • Continuous engagement of key stakeholders and project management teams to build a strategic alliance.
    • Conduct research to bring up-to-date market knowledge, industry trends, and innovation to identify the new vendors and build relationships with them.
    • Integrate Vendor Quarterly Business Review into the strategic sourcing process. Evaluate vendor performance, assess key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with vendors to align on business goals and enhance overall performance.
    • Represent strategic sourcing as a subject matter expert on key categories for material and services. 
    • Implement sourcing and supplier relationship management best practices.

What YOU bring to the role: 

    • University Degree in Engineering, Science or Business is preferred
    • Nationally recognized professional Supply Chain Management Certifications such as CSCMP, CPSM will be preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise-level experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, and/or Procurement. 
    • Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
    • MBA or equivalent experience will be an asset.
    • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is desired.
    • Health care or life science-related experience is an asset.
    • French Language proficiency will be an asset.
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Office.
    • Solid understanding of project management principles, techniques, and tools developed through extensive project management experience.
    • Proven track record of successful execution of the RFx process from inception to completion with quantifiable achievements and collaboration with cross-functional teams
