Responsibilities:
- Build on your existing skills mainly in AutoCad, Inventor and other design programs as needed.
- Develop, as part of the Technical Services Group, your value as a subject matter expert for a wide variety of engineering disciplines focused mainly on mining, civil, structural and mechanical engineering.
- Develop the ability to formulate concepts in response to needs expressed by teammates and working closely with design engineers, progress those concepts to reality.
- Depending on Dumas’ future requirements, scheduling and estimating programs such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and InEight Estimate (Hard Dollar) may be introduced and used by the successful applicant.
- Follow through with designs with fabrication in support of the operations group including QA/QC and documentation necessary to complete the design package.
- Assist the Estimating and Business Development Group in completing Material Takeoffs and estimating cost or collecting quotations to backup cost of materials.
- Provide timely assistance to the Dumas Maintenance Facility in their ongoing effort to maintain Dumas’ equipment fleet and construct new builds.
