People Inc. is seeking a talented Video Producer to support our highly collaborative video team. Our ideal candidate has a background in video, social media, the ability to shoot on iPhones and Digital Video Camera, working knowledge of audio, and production.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create content that resonates with a national audience. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, has a passion for the creative process and the ability to execute projects successfully and efficiently from start to finish.
Assignment Details:
24-40 hours per week
Start Date: 2/17/2026
End Date: 3/31/2026 (possibility of extension)
Hourly Rate: $60
Location: NYC People Inc. Office
Assignment Responsibilities:
- Partner with editorial, social, and branded teams to concept and produce high-impact video content that drives audience growth and brand engagement.
- Shoot, produce and direct videos that engage with the audience.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and solve creative challenges with innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate initiative, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset.
- Lead video projects from pre-production through post-production and publishing.
- Develop creative treatments, shot lists, and production plans.
- Oversee editing, color, sound mix, and final export across platforms.
- Direct on-camera talent (talent, editors, influencers, etc.) to ensure strong performance and clarity of message.
Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in social and branded video production.
- Knowledge of lifestyle media.
- iPhone, Digital Video Camera, and digital footage ingesting and organizing
- Project Management
- Ability to work across multiple lifestyle brands, including but not limited to: Food, Fashion, Travel, Home
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).
- Experience working with branded content partners and advertiser deliverables.
- Experience in studio and field production environments.
