Job Description 
The ideal candidate for our Senior Analyst opening is an auditor, financial management professional, or financial consultant who can apply technical expertise and skills to support a Federal General Fund (GF) or Working Capital Fund (WCF) financial statement audit.
Responsibilities 

  • Executing the day-to-day research, analysis, and communication at the direction of the team lead.
  • Utilizing data analysis technology to analyze information. 
  • Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills as significant time is spent drafting/updating communication artifacts (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Desktop Guides, whitepapers).
  • Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines.
  • Directing and reviewing the work of Analysts.
  • Communicating the status of project related tasks to the team lead.
Minimum Requirements 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • One of the following certifications professional certifications:  CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM, or CDFM.
  • 3.5 years of progressive, relevant DoD financial statement auditing, audit remediation, or audit readiness.
  • Experience in federal/DoD financial statement auditing, audit remediation, or audit readiness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
 Preferred Skills   
  • Associate located in NCR.
  • Experience working with the Federal Government and/or DoD clients.
  • Fund Balance with Treasury (FBWT) reconciliation experience.
  • Experience working with DoD's Advanced Analytics (Advana) platform.
  • Ability to independently research and reconcile variances.
  • Experience researching and applying FASAB, OMB, and Treasury requirements including OMB Circular A-136 and/or the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM).
  • DFAS reporting policy or procedures knowledge.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SharePoint, SQL, ACL, Analytics, Python, Microsoft Access databases. 
  • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
  • Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
