Job Description
CSCI looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to support a DoD client. The primary effort is to provide a variety of operational and maintenance support services for the sustainment of the system, specifically with a focus on knowledge transfer, audit steadiness, and software configuration management changes.
 
Our team supports the sustainment requirements for budgeting, financial accounting, cost and performance management, special interest reporting and data analytics, Audit Steadiness initiatives, and external reporting across the DoD enterprise.
Responsibilities:
  • Developing functional requirements utilizing agile development methodology for an accounting and/or financial reporting system using configuration management software, updating and maintaining financial reporting mappings utilizing USSGL, Treasury/DoD Attribute updates, and SFIS elements.
  • Developing system requirements in support of Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) and Federal Financial Management System Requirements for Fiscal Reporting, specifically proficient in areas related to Financial Reporting in Treasury Financial Manual (TFM).
  • Developing and conducting testing and training programs for complex financial reporting systems
  • Production support, which includes but is not limited to, assisting customers in addressing issues related to developing crosswalks, conversion tables, configuration settings, correcting out of balance conditions, undistributed cash and funding processes, and other table maintenance requests/questions in support of Audited Financial Statements, Budgetary reporting, and Government wide Treasury Account Symbol (GTAS) processing.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Three years’ experience as a Systems Analyst supporting financial applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Government accounting and audit experience to include knowledge of Government wide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-136, Financial Reporting Requirements, and Department of Defense (DoD) financial reporting requirements for Audited Financial Statements, Budgetary reporting
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
