This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office. Remote applicants will not be considered. 
  
 
Summary of the Scrum Master II   
The person in this role will act as Scrum Master for 2-3 teams and will promote Agile development practices and across multiple stakeholders to identify and remove impediments.  We need Scrum Masters with a strong vision for creating the best workplace possible. The ideal candidate will be passionate about getting the best out of individuals and teams through the power of self-organization.       
 
Responsibilities for the Scrum Master II
  
  • Serve as subject matter expert on software development methods and processes
  • Enable the Scrum teams to perform at the highest level by instilling Scrum values, coaching the team, removing impediments, and protecting the team from disruption
  • Organize and facilitate team backlog management, daily scrum (standups), sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos and other Scrum-related events
  • Monitor, record, and communicate assigned team(s) KPIs/metrics and ensure transparency regarding team achievements across internal stakeholders
  • Identify and communicate impediments of team achievement to leadership while working to remove any barriers to deliver on committed work
  • Assist Product Owner as needed with backlog maintenance, internal and external communication, improving transparency, and disseminating information
  • Share Agile knowledge and best practices across the organization to maximize Scrum team performance and effectiveness
  • Coach teams, individuals, and the organization in collaboration, transparency, iteration, and being customer focused

Qualifications of the Scrum Master II            
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management of information systems, or equivalent    
  • 3+ years of working on a Scrum team as a contributor (Developer, Product Owner, QA Engineer)
  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in coaching an organization at any level through the transition from waterfall to an agile framework 
  • Experience working in an environment where an agile framework was applied at scale
  • Experience in a variety of Software Development Life Cycles (waterfall, iterative and agile)
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Attainment of one or more agile-related, scrum master focused certifications: 
    • Scrum Alliance: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced CSM, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM)
    • org: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I-III)
    • Other: Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Scrum Master II   
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Comfortable with the implementation and execution of Scrum in an environment where individuals are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the methodology.
  • Experienced facilitator able to apply various techniques to ensure effective meetings both co-located and distributed
  • Strong leadership skills and a history of leading through influence
  • Ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Collaborative approach to decision-making on teams
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Ability to help existing leadership understand their changing role
