We follow a hybrid model, so employees are expected to be in the office 2 days per week.
The Opportunity:
The Architecture Manager will be responsible for leading the team that designs technical solutions for our web based EHR system for the US Healthcare Industry. As the Manager you will work closely with development teams, product owners, and other architecture teams in the company to ensure that our system is scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of software and data architects.
- Work with stakeholders to determine priorities for the team.
- Participate actively in defining the architectural vision for the company.
- Ensure the team delivers technical solutions that meet the needs of the business and align with our company's overall architecture and technology strategy.
- Provide knowledge leadership in the areas of web-based development, infrastructure, application layers, and databases.
- Ensure that the architecture team addresses issues of scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Ensure that the team works effectively and collaboratively with the development teams.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry, and evaluate their potential impact on our system.
Qualifications:
- Technical/bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related careers.
- Advanced English level.
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java/Web technologies, including Java, Springboot, Javascript, SQL and NoSql databases (Oracle preferred), Solutions Architecture, System Design, Microservices, Diagramming Applications, and related tools required
- At least 3 years in a management position.
- Knowledge of databases and data lake technologies such as Oracle, MongoDB, Snowflake or equivalent.
- Experience with AWS desirable.
