The RCM Billing Payment Posting Associate I is responsible for basic payment posting duties within the revenue cycle management process. They focus on accurately recording and reconciling payments received from various sources.
Responsibilities for the RCM Billing Payment Posting Associate I
- Receive and process payments from insurance companies, patients, and other payers
- Post payments accurately and promptly into the billing system
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and address any issues with incomplete or incorrect payments
- Ensure compliance with billing and payment posting policies and procedures
- Assist with basic coding and billing inquiries related to payment posting
- Maintain organized records of payment transactions
- Collaborate with team members to optimize payment posting processes
Qualifications of the RCM Billing Payment Posting Associate I
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of medical billing and payment posting procedures
- Familiarity with billing software and Microsoft Office suite

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
