CJ Logistics is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager - a powerhouse problem-solver and relationship builder. This role serves as a critical liaison between CJ Logistics and assigned customer accounts, responsible for driving operational performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. The position requires a thorough and embedded understanding of customer business objectives, CJ Logistics systems, and warehouse operations to proactively identify opportunities and implement effective solutions. The individual will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage reporting and analytics, and support inventory, quality, and compliance processes. Success in this role depends on strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trusted partnerships both internally and externally.

- Salary Range: $108,000 - $115,000/year
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM. Flexibility may be required due to business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned customers’ business models, supply chain strategies, and commercial agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships across customer functions, including Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and Brand Management
- Lead customer growth and renewal initiatives, including RFP responses, pricing proposals, and strategic business reviews (QBRs)
- Manage and support operations-related projects; create action plans to ensure timely execution and results
- Provide regular KPI reporting, scorecards, and operational performance insights to both internal teams and customers
- Oversee inventory control processes, including audits, investigations, corrective actions, and B2B adjustments
- Monitor quality hold processes and ensure compliance with key operational outputs and timelines
- Analyze logistics center data to identify trends, root causes, and early indicators of process or quality issues
- Support warehouse operations by monitoring metrics, recommending improvements, and assisting with regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Coordinate with customer and internal teams on demand planning, labor scheduling, carrier performance, and exception management
- Support customer-facing activities including forecast analysis, volume spike management, issue resolution, and operational alignment
- This position requires occasional travel to other company facilities, primarily in the Chicago and Atlanta region - up to 20% travel
What You Bring to the Table
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a distribution center environment, including at least 1–2 years in a role involving direct client interaction and team leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven project management capabilities with a sharp attention to detail skills
- Solid understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory, order fulfillment, customer service, and transportation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Comfortable working independently and in a customer-facing capacity
- Confident and effective presenter with the ability to engage audiences at all organizational levels
- Expert level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with CJ Logistics systems (WMS, TMS, and internal platforms).
- 1–2 years in an Operations or Corporate role at CJ Logistics.
- A knack for simplifying the complex and getting stuff done.
