We are looking for a Software Engineer to be a part of a small, dynamic, medical diagnostic team, by contributing to the development of internal applications to support the manufacturing and operations of our products which will improve the health of patients and ensure consumer safety for global public health.

Come be a part of our team and our mission as a Software Engineer!  Software Engineers write and maintain application and web-based software for the company’s production and manufacturing systems. BioFire is looking for highly motivated individuals with the following skills:

- 0 (+) years of professional software experience writing code in C# or Java
- 4-year degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related scientific or engineering discipline
- Ability to perform in a challenging environment and contribute formally and informally on several projects at once
- Ability/ interest to contribute using test driven development environment
- Ability to adapt to customer feedback and updated requirements

In addition to these skills, the candidate would ideally have knowledge/experience with the following:

- Microsoft MVC
- Knockout.JS
- Selenium or Cypress
- Javascript and Java Script Unit Testing frameworks
- WPF experience
- Software testing skills
- Basic understanding of PCR and its uses 
- Microsoft Visual Studio
