This role is for an entrepreneurial, digitally savvy marketer with a strong understanding of ecommerce, customer relationship marketing and web content development.  The role includes marketing activation and amplification of the eCommerce customer portal, social media, and email marketing campaigns from a marketing and digital operations perspective, working with various agency partners, and marketing segment or product managers in a cross-functional capacity.  Daily operations include creating cross-sell and upsell copy, agency oversight, reporting and working with global stakeholders. This function is also accountable for maintaining KPIs and reporting analytics to the senior leadership team.
 
This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications & Digital Operations and is based in Chicago IL.
 
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Driving high customer engagement, product visibility, promotions and increase in online orders.
  • Ideate, execute, and test strategies to enhance shopping portal and website conversion funnels to improve overall customer experience.
  • Track and analyze KPIs, create monthly reporting and share out with key stakeholders within cross-functional team.
  • Execute social media, Linkedin email and SEO campaigns with agency partners and segment marketers.
  • Creating content, writing technical copy, cross-sell/upsell copy to grow online customer base.
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Life Sciences. 
  • Agency background a plus. 
  • 3-5 years experience working within a marketing team in life sciences, digital marketing agency, food or pharmaceutical marketing team wearing multiple hats. 
  • Relevant commercial and B2B or B2C marketing experience within a digital marketing team.  Understands how to run a marketing project from concept through execution.
  • Experience with Marketing Automation Software, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Ability to create detailed reports of sitewide customer behavior, navigation behavior and potential UX improvements.
  • Strong business writer, creative thinker, excellent internal communicator
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curious thinker, creative experimenter.
  • A plus: Familiarity with UX/UI design
 
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of digital marketing operations, some copywriting and content development creation, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, reporting, working with Agency partners, communicating with senior level stakeholders, delivering KPIs, collaborate and partner with core team and manage up.
 
 
Up to 20% US travel. Potential to travel to world headquarters in France.
