Barracuda MSP is looking for a stellar Senior Operations Engineer to join the Cyber DevOps team. This is a great role if you:

  • Keen to bring in automation in operational incident resolution
What you'll be working on:
  • Build best practices and capabilities to maintain and automate failover for multiple apps in AWS
  • Respond to and resolve operational incidents in the cyber security space
  • Adhering to the operational SLA in responding to and resolving incidents
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure for global data pipeline for ELK stack
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure for data lake
  • Manage and monitor cloud (AWS) platform
  • Resolve access request tickets according to the operating procedure
  • Participate in on-call rotation

 What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud operations or any other cloud providers
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong experience on Linux fundamentals – command line, networking etc.,
  • Experience in managing infrastructure in AWS using EC2, VPC, ELB, EKS, S3 etc.,
  • Experience in Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience in managing remote infrastructure (sensors, agent) using tools like Ansible is a plus
  • Ability to break down large bodies of work into manageable tasks
  • High-level shell fluency + one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, or similar)
  • Likes to have fun, moves fast, is willing to read and challenge whiteboard scribbles from the leadership
