The Opportunity    
Ashoka is looking for an entrepreneurial manager to lead the Venture and Fellowship Program in South Asia. The Venture and Fellowship Program is responsible for the search and selection of Ashoka Fellows, and their engagement toward greater individual and collective impact. The person will be responsible for:    
Mobilize networks, build pipelines, identify and interview candidates for the search and selection of Ashoka Fellows within South Asia.    
Conduct in-depth interviews with local social entrepreneurs to support their candidacy in the Ashoka Fellows election process    
Organize and coordinate selection panels for electing Ashoka Fellows    
Engage with and mobilize Ashoka Fellows towards meaningful community connections and interactions    
Manage and foster donor relationships and organizational partnerships for work related to Venture & Fellowship    
Collaborate with other program leaders in South Asia and globally to build/enhance a successful Venture & Fellowship Program in South Asia.    
    
Skills required – team management, conducting interviews, writing complex ideas with clarity, community management, basic event organizing, managing donor and fellow relationships    
    
The ideal candidate should:    
Have 5–7 years of work experience in the social impact space, whether in a profit or non-profit setting;    
Have played an entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial role in creating or co-creating organizations and/or initiatives that have achieved impact,    
financial sustainability and scale;    
Demonstrate an ability to build and collaborate with other teams and networks;    
Inspire trust and demonstrate strong ethical fiber;    
Have excellent professional and communication skills to be a part of a dynamic team and network;    
Be an Indian national.    
Be willing to travel within India as required.    
    
This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India.
