We are Looking for:
The Linear EPG Manager provides support to the Linear Channels department in managing operational needs for our client. The successful candidate will have a background in program scheduling, broadcast operations, and have a passion for production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper ordering and delivery of graphics files for FAST (S3 and Amagi).
- Owns collection of data from all Linear Stakeholders to create weekly reports as needed.
- Responsible for providing Quality Control for EPG data and imagery.
- Support Channels Team with Playlist creation and QA responsibilities.
- Independent real time trouble-shooting when issues arise with the channel’s EPG, or other unknown issues
- Independent creative decision making on content selection, playlisting, scheduling and programming
- Strategic decision making on content quality bar and ownership of building and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Owns all aspects of EPG data and imagery delivery, execution and creative decision making
- Focused attention for all day-to-day linear scheduling with attention to cultural date and time benefits, localized product requirements and content editing guidelines.
- Additional ad-hoc scheduling, operational, and marketing tasks upon request (re-formatting image requests, routing descriptive metadata for titles & channels, writing creative copy, proofing creative assets).
- Proactive independent programming and scheduling decision making as needed
- On-call for select weekends and nights as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 4 years of scheduling, EPG management or operational experience with digital broadcast
- Knowledge of scheduling and programming software
- Knowledge of delivery file specifications for S3 and Amagi
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $60,000-$72,000.
