We are Looking for:
The Contingent Workforce Production Manager will be in charge of leading the studio team on all productions. You'll ultimately be the main point of contact for embedded employees, liaising with Resource Management teams to ensure direct reports are informed about company policy. Continued communication and updates to your team and stakeholders will be essential. To be successful, you will need to be able to lead a large and diverse team, have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, and be able to proactively identify issues to be resolved.
A highly collaborative individual who can work across several departmental channels while expressing the utmost creativity in quality digital video editing. A close attention to detail and ability to also work well independently will make this person successful in this role. This is a fully on-site position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a diverse team.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support employees and act as a liaison between embedded team members and CORE teams.
- Liaise with senior client leadership in relevant meetings to represent ASG personnel.
- Schedule for the control room and studio crew assigned to them.
- Oversee resource allocation and communicate production coverage needs (full-time and part-time), including key role requirements and candidate evaluation.
- Ensure the studio is staffed appropriately and production needs are addressed.
- Work with control room staff to diagnose, resolve, and document any personnel issues that arise.
- Handle any interpersonal issues that arise involving ASG personnel during production, escalating to the Resource Management team as needed and keeping them informed of necessary goings-on.
- Lead monthly update meetings with contingent workforce.
- Lead meetings with client team leads for status updates on operations in contingent workforce.
- Train new ASG team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in a media environment and managing a team of studio operations professionals.
- Proven experience in television production, showcasing your mastery of operations and management in a fast-paced media environment.
- Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, coupled with a knack for communication and collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $120,000-$130,000.
