Al Jazeera Media Network are currently seeking a bilingual Producer - Promo - Responsible for producing, on time and to budget, on-air-promotions for all channel and network requirements as and when needed - working from conceptualization or brief, within the channels editorial and brand framework, to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise creative treatments for programming / news and channel promotions on-air and on-line
- Reinforce editorial integrity of programmes and news output. Understand and support channel brand, personality and marketing strategy
- Exercise compliance awareness in avoiding litigation or offence through inappropriate or insensitive use of ?material and language
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in spelling, grammar and pronunciation
- Supervise and direct post-production, both visual and audio based.
Strong Communication skills - Follow line management and take direction from other members of the Creative team and other relevant departments
- Work un-social hours and flexible shift patterns, as and when needed.
- Work within regulatory guidelines, particularly OFCOM. Health and Safety Codes of Practice in TV production
- Producing and directing shoots to a high professional standard. Directing, guiding and aiding in the development of their Subordinates. Self generate Channel wide editorial on-air-promotions and campaigns.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional Experience in TV, Media graphics, Art Production.
