Position Summary:  

Reporting to the Dispatch Assistant, the Driver is required to deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites, suppliers, and the shop, as well as keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked as directed by the Dispatch Staff and Service Manager.   

Must have or be able to obtain DOT physical.  

Responsibilities:  

• Pickup and delivery of materials using a delivery van.  Trips are mostly local in the Mechanisburg area, with occasional out of town day trips and rare out of town overnight trips.
• Loading and unloading of materials in the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor
• Loading and unloading of materials on job sites
• Manual labor to carry materials to/from specific areas on job sites (rooftops, mechanical rooms, etc.)
• General labor to assist qualified tradespeople while on job sites.
• General warehouse duties and cleanup
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
• Pickup and delivery of materials using delivery vans, pickup trucks, and flatbed trucks.

Qualifications  

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Valid forklift training certificate
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials on job sites, up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse and delivery experience is an asset.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• must have or be able to obtain DOT physical
